Terms of Service
Version 1.0 — Effective September 14, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and PostForge. By connecting your LinkedIn account or using the service you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to them. If you do not agree, do not use PostForge. See also our Privacy Policy.
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PostForge website, application, and services (the "Service"). By clicking to agree, connecting a LinkedIn account, or otherwise using the Service, you enter into a binding agreement with HAS, operating as PostForge ("we," "our," or "us"). If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You must hold a LinkedIn account in good standing that you are authorized to use, and you may not use the Service in a way that breaches LinkedIn's own terms or policies. You are responsible for everything posted through your connected accounts.
3. Your LinkedIn Account and Authorization
PostForge connects to LinkedIn using official OAuth 2.0 authorization. By connecting an account you authorize us to access your basic profile information and to publish posts on your behalf using the permissions you grant. We request no access to your messages, connections, or groups. You may revoke access at any time in your LinkedIn settings or by disconnecting the account in PostForge; revocation stops future publishing but does not recall posts already published.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- publish unsolicited or bulk promotional messages, spam, or engagement-bait;
- publish content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, harassing, hateful, infringing, or that violates another person's privacy or intellectual property rights;
- impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with one;
- present AI-generated output as professional financial, legal, medical, or other regulated advice;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect data from LinkedIn or any third-party source, or circumvent rate limits, quotas, or access controls;
- reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as your own;
- create multiple accounts, or use referrals or trials, to obtain credits, rewards, or free capacity by deceptive means;
- interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
5. Your Content and Licence to Us
You keep ownership of the content you provide (topics, writing samples, voice profiles, images, and drafts). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, adapt, and publish that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service — including publishing it to the third-party platforms you connect and using it to build your voice profile. You confirm you have all rights necessary to grant this licence and that the content you submit does not infringe anyone else's rights. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving what is published under your account.
6. AI-Generated Content
PostForge uses third-party AI models to discover source material and draft posts. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or may unintentionally resemble existing text. We do not warrant that any draft is factually accurate, original, or suitable for publication. You are responsible for reviewing drafts before publishing, particularly when automatic approval is enabled, and for verifying facts, quotes, and claims about third parties before they go live.
7. Third-Party Platforms and Services
Publishing depends on third-party platforms (such as LinkedIn) and their APIs, which are outside our control. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, which you must comply with. We are not responsible for platform outages, rate limits, format restrictions, content removals, account restrictions, or API changes, and we may suspend affected features while we respond to them.
8. Trial, Subscriptions, Renewal, and Cancellation
- Free trial: the trial grants a limited lifetime allowance of posts (currently 3) and does not reset. It requires no payment card.
- Subscriptions: paid plans are billed in advance through PayPal at the price and interval shown at checkout (monthly, quarterly, or annual).
- Automatic renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and PayPal charges the payment method you authorized, until you cancel.
- Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops the next renewal and your plan remains active until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refunds: payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, unused capacity, or periods in which you did not use the Service. Where consumer law gives you a right to a refund or a cooling-off period, that right applies and overrides this clause.
- Price changes: we may change prices with notice before your next renewal; continuing the subscription after notice means you accept the new price.
- Referral rewards: referral bonuses (extra trial posts or a free month) are promotional, have no cash value, require genuine distinct users, and may be reversed if we detect self-referral, duplicate accounts, or other abuse.
9. Our Intellectual Property
The Service itself — including the software, pipeline, prompts, user interface, and PostForge name and marks — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own business or professional purposes; no other rights are granted.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, and without refund where the law permits, if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal exposure or risk to other users or to our platform integrations, or if we are required to do so by law or by a third-party platform. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (content licences you granted, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law) survive.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant any outcome from using the Service, including audience growth, engagement, reach, or conversions.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to the Service — including content published on your behalf, content removed by a platform, or a platform restricting your account. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PostForge and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you submit or publish through the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of any law or third-party right — including intellectual property, defamation, privacy, and platform rules.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or the law. When we make material changes we will update the version number and effective date above and ask you to accept the new version in the app before continuing to use the Service. Continued use after a non-material update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the paragraph below, the courts located in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law in your country or region of residence, including any right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
16. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
