Set it up in three steps
Choose your starting point
Add up to three topics, describe a point you already want to make, or paste an article URL. However you start, PostForge finds or reads the source material before drafting.
Set your voice and rules
A preset or trained voice profile shapes the writing. Editorial preferences decide formatting, hashtags, paragraph style, and closing style, and a saved take can lead article-based drafts.
Choose how it publishes
Review is the default; auto-publish is opt-in and reversible. Pick one to six weekdays and the From/To window each post goes out in.

Discover
PostForge searches Hacker News, Reddit, GitHub, YouTube, and the web for recent, relevant articles matching your topics, scores each candidate for relevance and predicted engagement, and searches only the discovery sources you enable. Or start from your own expertise: answer five questions about a pattern, decision rule, myth vs reality, client question, or framework, and PostForge finds sources that serve that point and labels how well each one fits. You can also browse candidates before starting a run, or paste any article URL and skip discovery.
Extract
The full article is fetched and read so the drafting model understands the source material, not just the headline. A pasted URL is fetched the same way, so any public article can become a post.
Interpret and draft
A large language model writes the post in your writing voice: a preset (Professional, Conversational, Bold) or a custom profile trained on your own samples, with editorial preferences controlling formatting, hashtags, paragraph style, and closing style. From an article, add your take and the draft is built around your position; saved takes form a library, and one can be the default. Choose one of six post structures to set the angle. From a brief, your five answers lead the draft and the source supports them. Length is adjustable from about 75 to 375 words, and an optional image can be generated or uploaded.
Validate
Every draft passes strict quality checks: word count, no markdown, and the formatting rules you set (by default, no em-dashes or parentheses). Phrasing that reads as machine-written is flagged for your attention instead of rejected, so a term you would really use stays in the post. Articles are checked against your post history, so the same source is never used twice. A draft that fails a check is held for your review, with each issue highlighted so you can fix it before approving.
Review or automate
Review is the default: the source, the draft's scorecard, and the check results sit in one place before you decide. The scorecard rates eleven dimensions (insight potential, evidence quality, promotional risk, and more) with a reason for each. On paid plans, a claim check compares the draft's claims with the source and marks each supported, contradicted, not established, or insufficient with the deciding passage; it reports what the source supports, not whether the source is right. Edit anything that is not right, then approve for scheduled publishing or publish now. Expertise runs always wait for your approval, and once the workflow has earned your trust, drafts that pass every check can publish automatically; you can switch back at any time.
Schedule and publish
Approved posts go live on LinkedIn through the official API. Choose one to six weekdays and a From/To window (overnight ranges included) and PostForge prepares one post per selected day at a random time inside that window. A missed window parks the draft instead of publishing late. Pause or update the schedule from Automation.
